When It Finds Us
08:58
|
|
||
when dawn crests o’er black hills
and bathes earth in her radiance
when darkness is chased
to her bed of night
when it finds us
laid in crook of willow
and bathes you in her radiance
awaken unto me
o goddess divine

Breath
06:17
|
|
||
once i gazed upon your glory
enraptured by that verdant light
that animates the humble breath
of every living instrument
will you gaze upon my glory
ripped from black of sorrow’s night
and animate my humble breath
to join in every soul’s delight?

Elysium
06:00
|
|
||
in solitude i went a ways
and sought the stillness there
all veiled, the dancing shadows swayed
and caught me unaware
a darkness set my soul in shade
and caught me up in fear
all hopes and goodness seemed to fade
away and leave me bare
so scathed i could not help but tremble
under cowl of frigid night
til fate flung wide elysium
and bathed me in her light

The Green Sea (Pt. II)
07:20
|
|
||
i will arrive one day upon that lee
and find the place wherein my love abides
she who was borne away by the green sea
where now rise life, flora and greenery
I crept alone under the windswept skies
I will arive one day upon that lee
oftimes, a nightly yearning to percieve
the depth that lay unravish’d in her eyes
she who was borne away by the green sea
I dreamed her into being, it may be
that only in my thoughts was she alive
I will arrive one day upon that lee
where I was needy, there she met my need
and gently cast my aching fears aside
she who was borne away by the green sea
now every trembling cell calleth to thee
may all of Nature hear their fervent cry
I will arrive one day upon that lee
where she was borne away by the green sea

The Fae Queen
16:42
|
|
||
lost in oneiric desolation
grasping through pale shadows
lost in blackened wastes of self
lost, crying to a dead sky
entreaties for a painless end
when, in blinding streams of luxurious white,
suspended in glory
she arrives
she has come not to bring peace, but a sword
where your courage has failed,
an athame emerges from her mouth
circles within circles cast of spirit
grant you safety in this wyrd place
unfamiliar tongues cry threats of pain
silenced with but a wave of her hand
this righteous power fills your bosom
with elated flame
close your eyes with holy dread
and let your mouth be opened
to accept a honeyed breath
perfumed in resplendent absolution
steeped in a new and unfamiliar strength
now crush these astral chains
and awaken into light
